Spending a day in Bigodi town was a warm, welcoming experience filled with local culture and flavors. I started with a visit to a local coffee farm, where I enjoyed a rich cup of freshly brewed coffee. Later, I stopped by a school and orphanage, getting a glimpse into the community’s efforts to support and educate its younger generations.
The day continued with a visit to a local women’s group, where I watched them expertly crafting beautiful handmade items. And, of course, I couldn’t miss the legendary “Banana Man,” famous around Bigodi for his banana rum and beer. His slogan, “Rest in Banana,” brought a smile to my face as I sampled his unique creations. It was a fantastic day, and each encounter made me feel connected to the vibrant spirit of Bigodi.
